What
does it take to run an innovative software company? Quite simply,
great people.
PullUin software hires the best designers, programmers, and artists
to create effective, yet creative, digital solutions. Our team is
passionate, experienced, highly talented, and ultimately focused
on how to make your learning experience something to remember.
In addition to our core team we are supported by a collective of
leading designers and artists who help us gain a much broader array
of creative expertise.
Mary Derby
President
An experienced instructional designer who understands that great
educational software depends upon great content. Mary manages to
synergize the tech, art, and content areas of pullUin into one big
party (that goes on into the wee hours) that delivers exceptional
software. She also provides the dip.
Prior to pullUin, Mary gained essential managerial skills in the
healthcare field and has over seven years of instructional design
and project management experience. Mary holds a B.S. in Medical
Technology and an M.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus
on Technology for Training and Health Administration.

programs for teachers, and in 2002 received a ‘National Science
Foundation Research Experience for Teachers’ grant.

programs by bringing the efforts of content experts, artists, and

imaginative forms using powerful tools such as Virtools, an authoring

models, animations, images, and sounds. Her experience with Virtools
and other languages and technologies allow for the creation of a
efficient and useful product.
She also serves as the project leader in the development of several

pullUin: answering phones, human resources, payroll documentation, mailings, and invoicing and billing for the Handheld Birds program. Basically she helps us keep our heads screwed on so they
aren't rolling around. Having owned her own business for 9.5 years, she definitely
knows what's needed to keep things going straight. Paula is a mom to a 25-year-old
daughter and is one of Mary's neighbors.
